Information you choose to submit
Charleston Beautiful receives information you voluntarily provide through contact forms, map suggestions, partnership inquiries and newsletter signup forms. Map suggestions and partnership inquiries may be stored in WordPress so the Charleston Beautiful team can review and respond to them. Newsletter subscriptions are sent to the configured email provider.
Newsletter information
When you join the Charleston Beautiful email list, the subscription information is sent to the configured email provider. The theme tracks signup source counts in WordPress but does not intentionally store subscriber email addresses in its local signup-count system.
Site operation, analytics and cookies
Charleston Beautiful may use standard WordPress cookies, hosting/server logs, analytics tools and advertising services enabled by the site administrator. Those services may process technical information such as browser type, device information, pages visited and approximate location according to their own privacy policies.
Maps, social networks and external services
The site uses or links to third-party services such as map providers, social networks and external websites. Interacting with those services is subject to the privacy practices of the provider you visit.
How long information is kept
Form submissions may be retained for editorial, customer-service, partnership, security or recordkeeping purposes for as long as reasonably necessary. You may contact Charleston Beautiful if you want to ask about information you previously submitted.
